i had an ace pro 2 and an action 5 pro, personally i liked the action 5 pro more(sold the ace pro 2 after about 6 month). i think the dji action 5 pro has better colors, better low light ability((4k indoors and outdoors) and stabilization was smoother on the dji action 5 pro
A second hand 5pro is crazy good value if its for personal use.

had a gopro 11 and 12 before switching to dji action, even my DJI pocket 1 had better video quality in daylight and low light than the gopros.
The colors are over saturated in the 5 and yes, if you compare them side by side, the 5 softens everything. You can fix the over saturation by shooting in Dlog in post, but I prefer using the 4 and not having to mess with it.
If you really want to buy now and can't wait to buy the Action 5 Pro, its a solid action camera.

The Action 5 Pro is the best action camera you can buy if specs matter to you — 4K/120fps, 47-minute battery, and a bigger sensor address the three biggest real-world complaints about action cameras. The GoPro HERO13 remains a valid choice if you're price-sensitive or already invested in GoPro mounts, but for a new purchase, the DJI is the technical winner.
