lol. I thought 2 at most. Had one and then twins. Graco 4 ever is a lie. I have back seat full of Dionos.

We have 2 of these and I really like them. I prefer these because of how easy they are to clean compared to the first seats we had. The cover comes off really easily and can go in the washer (on delicate), and the seat itself is easy to wipe down and vacuum out.

I'll be the other side of the coin...I had problems with this seat. It never worked for my daughter. In fact the day we put it in she started getting car sick. Every time. Even around the block. I couldn't get her to fit right and her chin was to her chest every time I adjusted. I spent hours on the phone with them. They eventually had me send it back. I spent the refund money on another brand and behold!..car sickness cured! Not every seat is the same.

I personally remember really liking the britax brand because the Click Tight feature made accurate installation a breeze. This meant that my husband or mom could get a seat installed in their cars the first try and it was a good install. The weight limits for the latch system are pretty low so many more years were spent using a buckle installation the latch install.

Not just that. One of my kids is very prone to getting car sick, and we had to flip her to forward-facing at the earliest point possible because of how often she was throwing up in her seat. Bonus points to that time one or three other kids had a blowout so bad that I contemplated throwing the seat away and buying a new one at Target. These seats are EXTREMELY washable. I like that these seats are also extremely easy to install and take out because the buckle was to attach them to the car seat act more like a seat belt instead of those god-awful hooks.

My wife and I got this seat for our daughter and I noticed the same issue. For some reason the head rest sticks out more then the back rest. I did some research and came up with nothing. Didn't wanna bother with calling the company because they're always a headache. I did grab the extra padding that came with the seat and placed it on the back of my daughter and she seemed more comfortable and her head was not forced down. Maybe is a design flaw or whatever, but we are still using the seat for our daughter with the extra padding behind her back. Hope this helps.

I'm here to second the chest clip! Also, I found that having it in the correct position seemed to improve my daughter's head position and encourage her to lift her chin off her chest.

โœ… What Works

  • Extremely easy to clean โ€” machine-washable covers and wipeable shells handle spills and blowouts well
  • Buckle-style LATCH installation praised as easier than hook-based systems on other seats
  • Fit and head position improved for some owners once properly adjusted

โš ๏ธ Worth Knowing

  • Poor initial fit reportedly caused car sickness for one child until switching to another brand
  • Possible headrest/backrest alignment design flaw reported, requiring extra padding to fix
  • LATCH weight limits are lower than competitors like Britax, shortening how long that install method can be used
  • Some owners feel the "4Ever" branding overpromises for multiple children, switching to other seats like Diono
ClearPick Verdict

Owner feedback on the 4Ever DLX is split โ€” 3 of 7 mentions positive, 3 negative, 1 mixed. The most serious complaint is fit-related: one parent reports their child got car sick every time in this seat until switching brands, and a separate owner describes a possible design flaw where the headrest sticks out more than the backrest, requiring extra padding to fix. Others note the LATCH weight limits are lower than rivals like Britax, shortening how long that install method works. On the positive side, washability is a standout โ€” owners repeatedly praise how easily the covers and shell handle spills and blowouts โ€” and buckle-style installation is seen as easier than hook-based systems. A solid pick for parents who prioritize easy cleaning and single-child use; those with multiples or a child sensitive to seat fit should test carefully or consider alternatives.
