We've had ours for 3 years and have never had this problem. Our only complaint is that the nighttime music routine we like is now part of the paid subscription so we can't edit it, but we're also totally fine with just the free lights and sounds.

Since we bought both machines (September 2024) they randomly pause and continue playing sound. I'd say the pause is about 1/1.5 seconds and very obvious. ... It has never really been a problem for my 6.5 month old, but I'm noticing it happens many times overnight and is actually waking her up and she's getting pretty triggered.
