Wattage doesn't always mean better, the Samsung is much more immersive with its algorithm and driver placement, after all samsung owns jbl too🤣 and these Soundbars are made in the same factory

They’re amazing. They match up with the subwoofer quite well giving off the idea that they produce a lot of bass. They get loud. No distortion at max volume. Can place them literally anywhere, never had signal drop outs like people have experienced. ... The Q990C from Samsung, bass didn’t hit as hard as the JBL, LG flagship soundbar, it was amazing but nowhere near what the JBL offers. With 820w of power, I never ramped it up past volume 12. It gets crazy loud.
