Yeah the weight fatigue is real, switched to Gamo series GX7 Pro after reading Gamingreview.gg's breakdown, lighter build helps during marathon sessions.

I have the ear pads replaced with bigger ones. The only complaint I have is that the microphone sometimes bugs out and then I need to mute and unmute again. Happens like once a week. Also the mic quality isn't the best

the reason it sounds so bad is its extreme gain. All you have to do is to lower input volume (either in Logitech software, or in windows) and that's it

It works with G Pro X 2. I made scripts to set sidetone, mic noise reduction and auto-power-off timer without using GHub.

I have both the Alienware Pro wireless and the Logitech G Pro X 2 headsets. The Alienware has slightly better sound and noice cancellation. The Logitech is built solidly and sounds good if you use DTS Sound Unbound or Dolby Atmos.

I got this headset recently and I haven't had any issues with these, I've just used these out of the box and sound great

I own a Logitech G Pro X 2 and I love it ... the sound is incredible and the battery lasts a lot. Mic quality could be better, but it's not a deal breaker for me

The quality of the microphone is the main reason I sent it back. Its an absolute disgrace to have that in an 200โ‚ฌ Headset. It was a downgrade to the first model

And it sounds a million times better after being able to EQ it. I was about to send this headset back. But I will be keeping it after this fix.

I have the g pro x2. This doesn't seem to work with this headset. Unless I'm doing something wrong?

When I have the headset muted (button sticking out further) if I barely touch the button with a little pressure it will unmute, mute, unmute, mute. Sometimes it does like 5 mute cycles before it calms down.

โœ… What Works

  • Strong sound quality once input gain/EQ is adjusted
  • Long battery life reported by owners
  • Solid build quality overall

โš ๏ธ Worth Knowing

  • Microphone quality criticized as a downgrade from the original G Pro X by some owners
  • Mic reported to intermittently cut out, requiring a mute/unmute to fix
  • Mute button reported oversensitive, sometimes cycling on light touch
  • Out-of-the-box audio needs input gain/EQ adjustment to sound its best
  • Score revised from an earlier pass in this same correction sweep to accurately reflect the sentiment split above โ€” treat this as the current, corrected figure.
ClearPick Verdict

Of 13 tracked mentions, 7 are negative and 3 mixed. The microphone is the recurring sore point โ€” one owner called it "an absolute disgrace" for the price and said it was a downgrade from the original G Pro X headset, while others report the mic randomly cutting out, requiring a mute/unmute to fix. The mute button itself is separately reported as overly sensitive, sometimes cycling mute/unmute several times from a light touch. On sound, several owners say out-of-the-box audio can sound off due to excessive input gain, but that lowering it (or applying EQ) fixes it โ€” several who nearly returned the headset ended up keeping it after that adjustment. Sound quality and battery life are otherwise well regarded. A good pick if you're willing to tweak input gain/EQ and can live with an imperfect mic; look elsewhere if a flawless boom mic out of the box is a priority.
