This is the best best tent I've ever owned, no question about it. It's lightweight, has great ventilation, roomy and really quick to set up. The tent comes with a great bag that makes it really easy to pack up. It packs down quite nice as well.

The hubba series has been fantastic for years. Even when I was working at an outfitter 11 years ago it was THE tent for backpacking if you could afford it.

I used to have Hubba HP (1p) which is the predecessor to NX series. I now have X-Mid 1p and consider it a better tent. Hubba was not a bad tent, I just got fed up with the narrow living space and vestibule door that let in rain water on my inner tent as soon as I opened it ... At no point did Hubba let me down (took some considerable wind and rain), but it was just a collection of minor niggles that made me sell it.
Comparison
I'm a big guy so I went with the Hubba Hubba NX and have no regrets. Weight wise it's less than the first cheap one-person I bought, even with the footprint. Love the stuff sack - THAT is some intelligent design right there!

Late for the party, but I love my Hubba Hubba and will defend its name. It held pretty well against Icelandic winds. Unless that one time due to user-mistake when poles bents.... and the bent poles later resisted more Icelandic wind. So I'd stay it's sturdy enough. Now it's only one data point and I'd be a bit twitchy about bringing it to the arctic.
