We use Tractive and have been happy with it. We lost the unit, not the dog, in the winter and we were able to locate using the live function and the chirp the unit produces. ... If I had to choose one or the other, I would most likely go with Tractive. More accurate, and I like the way you can view recent tracking history by choosing a time frame. I ran Fi 2 then 3 on my husky, and currently use Tractive. Fi wins on build quality and aesthetics, but Tractive wins on actual tracking. The big difference I noticed is that Tractive connects to pretty much any tower (Verizon, T-Mobile, AT&T), whereas Fi is locked to AT&T. In rural areas, that flexibility is huge.
