I own two of the model 11s. They're pretty decent at doing what they're meant to do so long as you accept their limitations. That said, there are some weird design choices. They require a full disassembly and cleaning every few months, otherwise they'll go into an endlessly-backing-up loop.
Can confirm that the beater bar bearing does fail first. Need to take everything apart to replace it. Fun.
The battery needs replacing (£15 on Amazon for a replacement. They tend to last between 1 and 2 years I find.)
It may be worth more dead than alive since we can't buy repair parts, post the pieces that still work on Ebay!
Until recently, it worked well for us. I was able to keep the cables organized enough and the house generally tidy enough for it to work. ... It was a good thing for a few years. It's working well right now as I just did a few repairs and maintenance.
Both performed admirably for a few years then were mothballed for reasons. When I got them back out neither will take a charge. Battery replacement is cheap and easy and hopefully all either needs before they start wandering about your home sucking up unwanted debris.
The eufy 11S is the right robot vacuum for Canadians who want a set-it-and-forget-it floor maintainer without paying for smart features they don't need. It's not going to map your home or avoid your dog's toys, but it will quietly sweep your floors every day without you touching it. For apartment dwellers and anyone with mostly hard floors, it's one of the best values in the category.
