Robot Vacuums

eufy BoostIQ RoboVac 11S

Best Budget Pick

The eufy BoostIQ RoboVac 11S is one of the slimmest robot vacuums available at just 2.85" tall, letting it glide under furniture that stops bulkier models. BoostIQ technology automatically increases suction power when more is needed, while triple-layer filtering captures fine dust, pet dander, and allergens. With up to 100 minutes of runtime and quiet 55 dB operation, it handles daily maintenance cleaning without disrupting your routine.

I own two of the model 11s. They're pretty decent at doing what they're meant to do so long as you accept their limitations. That said, there are some weird design choices. They require a full disassembly and cleaning every few months, otherwise they'll go into an endlessly-backing-up loop.

Can confirm that the beater bar bearing does fail first. Need to take everything apart to replace it. Fun.

The battery needs replacing (ยฃ15 on Amazon for a replacement. They tend to last between 1 and 2 years I find.)

It may be worth more dead than alive since we can't buy repair parts, post the pieces that still work on Ebay!

Until recently, it worked well for us. I was able to keep the cables organized enough and the house generally tidy enough for it to work. ... It was a good thing for a few years. It's working well right now as I just did a few repairs and maintenance.

Both performed admirably for a few years then were mothballed for reasons. When I got them back out neither will take a charge. Battery replacement is cheap and easy and hopefully all either needs before they start wandering about your home sucking up unwanted debris.

โœ… What Works

  • At under 3 inches tall it fits under most Canadian sofas, bed frames, and kitchen cabinets where upright vacuums can't reach โ€” this is the core reason people buy it
  • 1300Pa suction on hard floors and low-pile carpet handles everyday dust, pet hair, and crumbs reliably for small to medium apartments
  • Runs quietly enough that most users set it while sleeping or working from home without it being disruptive โ€” reviewers consistently call this out as a genuine daily-use advantage
  • Self-charging means it returns to its base automatically โ€” set a schedule once and it just runs without any daily input needed

โš ๏ธ Worth Knowing

  • No app, no WiFi, no mapping โ€” this is a remote-control-only robot, which means no room-specific scheduling or no-go zones. It cleans in a random pattern, not a systematic grid
  • Better for hard floors and low-pile carpet than thick rugs โ€” suction drops noticeably on deep pile and it can struggle with transitions between surface types
  • Better for maintenance cleaning than deep cleaning โ€” running it daily keeps floors tidy but it won't replace a full vacuum pass on high-traffic areas with heavy debris
ClearPick Verdict

The eufy 11S is the right robot vacuum for Canadians who want a set-it-and-forget-it floor maintainer without paying for smart features they don't need. It's not going to map your home or avoid your dog's toys, but it will quietly sweep your floors every day without you touching it. For apartment dwellers and anyone with mostly hard floors, it's one of the best values in the category.
