Premium over C920 is hard to justify for home use…
For personal home office use, the C920 does everything the C930e does for $40 less. The C930e earns its premium in enterprise environments — for solo setups it's probably overkill.

The 4× zoom sounds useful but it's digital, so image quality degrades when you zoom in. At 2× it's acceptable, at 4× the image is noticeably softer. Manage expectations.

Business users especially want a physical shutter. Covering the lens manually on a camera meant for enterprise deployment is not a professional solution.

The camera body is noticeably larger than consumer webcams. Works fine on a monitor clip but the size is a bit much for use on a laptop lid. Designed more for fixed installations.

One owner calls picture quality great and rates it 10/10 versus the cheaper C930C variant. But another reports it isn't detected by Logitech's own Capture software (works fine in Skype, Discord, and other apps), and a third notes the built-in microphone isn't very good despite solid picture quality. With so few data points we can't confirm a pattern, but plan on using an external mic and check Logi Capture compatibility if that software matters to your workflow.
