So far it's been great! The feeder has been super reliable so far. A few times my wifi was down for an hour or so and the feeder automatically reconnected to the wifi as soon as it was working again, without any issues.

Mine had been working fine for a long time until today where it became disconnected. I tried everything, and the only thing that worked for me was uninstalling the app, unplugging the feeder, then reinstalling the app, plugging the feeder back in, and then adding it to the Petlibro app again in that order.

I bought 6 and have three set up. One was disconnected. Now the other two have followed. So annoying for this much money.

No drawbacks that I've noticed but I never tried the cloud plan. Everytime i go into the video library it tries to get me to get the cloud plan too, but other then that this thing has been awesome

Maybe it only works with android because I cannot get mine to connect for the life of me. Hours and hours of failed attempts connecting to my wifi. It is now a door stop unfortunately until PETLIBRO can rectify the issue

I have another wifi petlibro feeder that has been a pain off and on with wifi. I find connecting another device onto the wifi that also uses the 2.4 band helps toggle the automatic activation of the 2.4 band on the wifi (my google mesh router is automatic but not great at it?).

I had the same issues with mine, then I switched a configuration on my Wi-Fi router to accept WPA3 and it connected immediately. Worth a try

I had no issues setting up the device using my phone (took 5 minutes on Android). I used the bluetooth option for setup. The feeder worked immediately on my 5GHz wifi without issues.

โœ… What Works

  • Auto-reconnects to WiFi after outages without manual intervention for many owners
  • Quick Bluetooth-assisted setup (around 5 minutes) reported by multiple owners
  • Reliable day-to-day feeding once properly connected

โš ๏ธ Worth Knowing

  • WiFi connectivity is the top-reported issue โ€” some owners can't get units to connect at all
  • Router settings changes (WPA3, isolating the 2.4GHz band) sometimes needed to fix connection drops
  • Some units disconnect permanently well after initial setup
  • In-app upsell for the cloud video plan is a minor recurring annoyance
ClearPick Verdict

Feedback on the PETLIBRO Granary WiFi Feeder is split: WiFi connectivity is the single most-discussed theme (3 of 8 mentions) and cuts both ways. Several owners report smooth setup in minutes and feeders that auto-reconnect after router outages without issue. But others describe hours of failed connection attempts, or previously-working feeders that later drop offline and require router settings changes (switching to WPA3, isolating the 2.4GHz band) to fix. One owner with six units had three disconnect over time. Reliable for many owners once it's connected, but go in prepared to troubleshoot your router settings if you have a mesh network or hit connectivity issues; if you want a fully plug-and-play smart feeder, weigh these reports first.
