For the price, the space, durability, and the speed of changing all together, they're hard to beat.

After waiting on the pros for a long time I caved and bought the elites... of course the pros showed in stock two weeks later.

There is what I would consider substantial play between the handle and the first plate on my set. The only time I notice it when they're on the stand and you purposefully wiggle them back and forth... However, it seems to only be a theoretical problem....not a problem during the reality of normal lifting.

I hated the handles. It presses oddly into my palm in a way that is uncomfortable.

I wear my apple watch while using them, and have for about a year with no issues.

โœ… What Works

  • Praised for space savings, durability, and speed of changing weights "hard to beat" for the price
  • Confirmed safe to wear a smartwatch during use over a full year with no issues

โš ๏ธ Worth Knowing

  • Contoured handles feel uncomfortable/press oddly into the palm for some users
  • Minor play or looseness reported between the handle and first plate on some units
  • Stock shortages have frustrated buyers who wanted the Pro line but settled for the Elite
ClearPick Verdict

Owner feedback on the Elite EXP is mixed but leans favorable, with the main sticking point being handle comfort โ€” one owner says the contoured handles "press oddly" into the palm, while another notes "substantial play" between the handle and first plate (though only during deliberate wiggling, not real lifting). On the plus side, owners confirm they're safe to wear a smartwatch around for a year of regular use, and the compact, quick-change design is repeatedly called hard to beat for the price and space. Some also vented frustration over stock shortages pushing them toward the Elite when they wanted the Pro. Good pick for space-constrained home gyms prioritizing quick changes; those sensitive to handle ergonomics should try them in person first.
