I've owned one of these for 3 years now and it's a fantastic piece of equipment. I also have the edger and leaf blower. With 2 batteries, it's always been enough for my 1/2 acre (using all 3 tools).

Just get the 40volt model (I have one) You can set it on low with the dial, or just barely pull the trigger. But I think for what you want, it won't let you down

Recently got myself a 18v whisper series leaf blower to replace my older clear tube ryobi leaf blower. I really like how quiet it is however I kinda feel like the 130 MPH leaf blower is the same as the 100 MPH clear tube blower.
