XB 43 is a much larger speaker, and it is definitely gonna sound bigger,expansive & louder. You will feel the audio is coming from a big speaker . Good speaker with great bass & highs, but you might feel like the mids & vocals are pushed back a little. Less portable due to to size. Great for general listening, especially for bass heavy music.
the xb43 is simply a muffled and muddy speaker, not a warm one. gets trounced by the anker boom, jbl xtreme etc. the xb33 sounds better
I confirm...I had the same xb 43 but a week later I realized that even though it was more equalized, the sound was sometimes indefinite with other genres other than hip hop or electronica, which I don't usually listen to. This is a more party-oriented speaker where definition and clarity definitely don't matter.

Sony speaker is not their best game. Their earphones and headphones get good reviews from different sites & people from different countries, but not so much for their speakers. They are usually considered to be muddy. JBL flip 6 has been noted for rather big improvement from flip 5 on the other hand. ... So quite obviously JBL flip 6 will sound more natural.
Buy xb 43.. if you get it a bit cheaper.. try to get 2 of em.. + the eq... Man.. you can set your neighborhood on fire
It sound fantastic but to listen to classic music I put re base to -2 and pumped up the mids and treble to 6 and 7
JBLs are known for their Speakers ... Many DJs and Music producers use JBL professional speakers for mixing/composing/producing audio. ... Their XB lineup of speakers are meh. ... Meanwhile, Sony are known for their headsets and TWS earbuds. ... Recently they launched their Ult field line of speakers which are quite competitive with JBLs
The one thing I will say about Sony speakers is they do tend to be easier to repair than other brands, or at least their older ones are. Sound wise they're fine though I've noticed over all they don't favor bass quite as much as other "party brands"
i think sony has more agressive marketing. they realy have best noise canceling option in headphones and hi tech cool options but in terms of sound quality they are not match for jbl on any audio device, also jbl is sound company while sony is allrounder
I feel like the sony has too much base and the mids and high sounds are completely eaten away by the base and also the base doesn't sound as crisp as with the cheap flip 6. The flip 6 has much more crisp and defined sounds in every range
