I've got my issues with Eufy and the L60, mainly the longevity of some of its components... The drive wheels kept dying... Eufy has moved on from the L-series and its likely not going to have support for much longer.
eufy L60 Robot Vacuum
The eufy L60 is the best mid-range robot vacuum for Canadian homes โ it upgrades the basic eufy lineup with AI-powered obstacle avoidance that navigates around pet toys, shoes, and cables without getting stuck, plus LiDAR mapping for efficient room-by-room cleaning. It hits the sweet spot between capability and price that makes it the most recommended eufy in Canadian reddit communities.

Just got mine today and I love it. With the L60 SES that I got, it includes a self-emptying base that has a hair cutter for any entanglements. The mapping is so good! I got mine for $380 on Amazon. I'm keeping my fingers crossed it lasts a long time
I had the Eufy L60 for a few days but returned it because it only has a 2600 mah battery and wouldn't finish cleaning my 2 bedroom apartment on high without having to recharge, also it seemed to bounce over the carpet I have in some rooms which I didn't like
Had same issue all of a sudden. Uninstall the Eufy Clean app and start using the Eufy app instead, seems Eufy Clean is being phased out without much communication about it.
Im not using my L60 anymore since it really has bad obstacle avoidance and bumps into everything. It really makes me nervous everytime its moving around.
If you want a 'Mopping (plain water only!) & vacuuming' robotic vacuum, that doesn't mop, vacuum and constantly looses its map memory, but remembers to tell you its stuck....in a place you've programmed it 'not to go'....AND enjoy p****** hundreds of pounds up the wall, buy away ... About 1yr of all this is finally over. Never again. What an absolute piece of s*** this is.
For what it's worth I just got one. It just mapped and then vacuumed my 1200 sqft place and had 55% battery remaining afterwards. I've only run it once, but I already love it.
Just got an L60. Was painless to set it up. So happy with it! Specially with the 5000pa and lidar for $299cad.
I love it! Just left to head to the dentist and started it up while I'm out. Literally no complaints. Mapping is great. Suction is good. Totally loving it so far. We'll see how I feel in a few months. All in all, I'd say go for it!
i just bought my Eufy L60 Ses on prime days for $279. love it. i have the Roborock Q5+ upstairs and like that one also.
I'm impressed with it too. Waiting for the battery to charge so I can play with it some more. Only issue I've noticed thus far is I created another map for the ground floor, and it deleted it after I switched to the top floor. Hope it doesn't keep doing that.
It's been a few months, how is it now? I got mine today and it's picking up hairs and fluff stuck to the carpet better than my 30C and G30.
โ What Works
- Strong pet hair pickup reported by multiple owners
- Mapping impresses most new owners out of the box
- Good battery runtime for typical apartment-sized spaces
โ ๏ธ Worth Knowing
- Drive wheel failures reported alongside Eufy dropping L-series support
- Mopping and map-memory failures noted by some owners
- Battery insufficient to finish larger (2BR+) spaces without a recharge
Owner sentiment on the L60 is genuinely split: of 12 mentions, 6 are positive, 5 negative, and 1 mixed. Several owners love the mapping and pet-hair pickup out of the box, with one comparing it favorably to Eufy's 30C and G30. But a real minority report real problems: lost map memory and failed mopping, a 2600mAh battery that can't finish larger apartments on one charge, and one owner describing repeated drive-wheel failures alongside Eufy discontinuing support for the L-series. Buy it for the price and mapping if your space is modest and you can tolerate some risk; skip it if you need a mop that mops or long-term component support.
