I've been struggling with myself to buy or not to buy this model. My old laptop is still decent, but it is already starting to show its age. And I can't upgrade to windows 11. But I'm going to buy the IPS version. I much prefer an IPS, 100% sRGB, than an OLED. Also everything OLED/Amoled gives me eyestrain/headaches.
Yeah the laptop is top notch. Feels premium, the display is a treat. But the speakers really bug me because I don't have an external speaker rn so I can't watch anything with other people. Everything else is amazing.
Pro 5. The Slim 5 has the IC placement issue(Motobook Pro) wherein it heats up and causes gray spots to appear on the screen at specific locations.
Pro has a bigger battery, and as per nanoreview, core 5 ultra 225 is better than ai 5 340. Pro also has a completely aluminium body, I'm not sure about the slim tho. It's up to you tho if you want a bigger display, go with slim. And the pro has a 32gb lpddr5x 8533MT/s ram.
Except none of my wallpapers work now without a bit of stretching.. and if I crop the edges they're no longer perfectly HD
Nice review but don't game on battery, u won't get enough power and sucking that much power from the battery and draining it this quickly will degrade it
I got this laptop and i can't see the booting options. The secure boot is disabled And it's the new bios layout and I can't find many settings to make.
Display- 1900×1200 oled panel with 400nits brightness. This display is a treat to watch content on. Having an oled display is a major criteria for me since I watch a lot of content and I absolutely love the deep blacks and HDR support in it. It's 100% srgb as well. Absolutely incredible display-10/10.
